    The following Tuesday we are hosting producers and film directors during our classes.

    Our guests are

    Kasia Nowicka- Mandes

    A graduate from the D. Baduszkowa Vocal and Acting studio in Gdynia and the film production and television faculty of the Radio and Television Department of the University of Silesia in Katowice.

    Her film adventure starts with “Teddy Boy” short movie at the Film School in Denmark. She cooperated with Lars von Trier’s Zentropa subsidiary and world as an assistant director during the make of such films as “In the name of” by Małgorzata Szumowska, “Baby Blues” by Catherine Roslaniec, and as a second assistant director on the “Lawyers” TV series, the “Lawyers” documentary by Petro Aleksowskiego and TV productions ( “Polish communion”, a series of “Eye of Ohme” for TLC television TLC).

    Kasia’s career path is closely related with Christopher Lang TFT documentary projects.

    Her motto: I derive joy from the possibility of observing people who live, work and breathe with passion and love for what they create – usually extremely well.

    Luke ‘Rat’ Czerwinski

    Actor, director and producer. A Gdynia Danuta Baduszkowa Vocal and Acting studio graduate. He has performed on the stage of the Musical Theatre in Gdynia in such productions as “Fiddler on the Roof”, “Shrek”, “Fame”, “Doll” or “Spamalot” by Monty Python. He studied film directing at the Gdynia Film School. He can be currently seen in CK Gdynia in the “MAYDAY – Run for your wife” play. hi is engaged in the production of commercial films as part of his own business (Rat Movie). Luke is fascinated with science-fiction, experimenting with cinema genre. He is not afraid of difficult productions and important topics. Film and stage instructor in the “Sierzchowo” and “Good Stop” projects. In 2009, he wrote, directed and staged his own “TAMA” musical at the ‘Nasz’ Theatre in Wloclawek.

    Students will learn about the knowledge of professionals in the following areas: cooperation with the camera, becoming realistic through the lens and techniques on the set. There will also be casting for the roles for the latest productions of the two directors.
